프라이드 먼스를 앞둔 5월의 마지막 주말 밤 펼쳐지는 두 번째 Screening Night의 주제는 Good Girl Gone Bad, ‘소녀 퀴어’다. 미성숙하지만 저항적인 사랑과 실천을 조명한다. 청량한 미감에 가슴 울리는 서사를 오가는 영화, 실험적인 영상과 댄스 퍼포먼스를 아우르고, 3일간의 GV를 통해 불완전한 욕망, 시선과 권력, 금기와 해방, 연대에 대한 이야기를 나눌 예정이다.
팩션의 정기 기획 Screening Night은 미술과 영화를 아우르는 라인업을 꾸리고, GV를 마련해 작가와 감독의 구분 없이 영상의 장르적 경계를 넓혀간다. 2024년 첫 번째 행사는 Thrill & Chill을 주제로, 청량하면서도 기이한 미감의 고어, 반전이 도사린 스릴러, 등골이 오싹해지는 공포 영화 7편을 선보였다.
Second Screening Night, theme of the edition Good Girl Gone Bad, “Queer Girlhood” spotlights raw, unpolished, and unapologetically defiant love and resistance. Films that swing between breezy aesthetics and gut-punch storytelling, plus experimental video works and dance performances. And of course, 3 nights GV where we get into it all — imperfect desire, the gaze & power, taboo & liberation, solidarity, and everything in between. Join us on the last weekend night of May, right before Pride Month kicks off!
Screening Night is Faction's ongoing curatorial program bringing together a lineup that spans fine art and cinema. Through post-screening GV sessions, the program invites artists and filmmakers alike to push the boundaries of moving image across genres. The theme for 2024 was Thrill & Chill — a carefully curated selection of 7 works that keep you on the edge of your seat and utterly transfixed: gore with a crisp yet unsettling aesthetic, thrillers laced with unexpected twists, and spine-chilling horror that lingers long after the credits roll.

1. 콜록, 콜록, 컬러! Color, color, color!
김세진 Sejin Kim, 13min, 2025
소심한 소미는 용기 내어 소개팅에 나왔지만 여전히 걱정이 너무 많다. 반면 소개팅 상대 연주는 소미와는 달리 좋아하는 것을 좋아한다 말할 수 있는 당당한 사람이다. 소미와 연주의 소개팅은 성공적으로 흘러가는 듯 했으나, 소미는 주변 사람이 자신을 퀴어로 보는 것만 같아 신경쓰여 소개팅 자리에서 도망쳐 버리고… 소미는 결국 자신의 마음에 솔직해지려 다시 한 번 용기를 낸다.
Shy Somi mustered up the courage to go on a blind date, but couldn't shake her worries. Her date, Yeonju, was the opposite—someone who confidently expressed what she liked. Things seemed to be going well, until Somi grew self-conscious, feeling as if the people around them could tell she was queer. Unable to bear it, she fled… but ultimately decided to be honest with herself and took another step forward.
2. 행복한 결혼식 A Happy Wedding

동성 결혼 법안이 통과됐다! 정하는 앞으로 현주와 함께할 행복한 미래를 꿈꾸지만, 기대만큼 현실은 녹록지 않다. 혼인 신청서, 보호자 임명 허가서, 상견례 확인서, 건강 검진 확인서. 심지어는 동성애 증명서까지… 한편, 정하는 현주와 결혼을 준비하면서 회의감을 느끼고, 이성애자의 편견에 맞춰 점수를 높게 받으려는 현주가 남처럼 느껴진다.
The same-sex marriage bill has passed! Jeongha dreams of a happy future with Hyeonjoo—but things don't go as planned. The government imposes extra burdens on gay couples: a property inheritance waiver, guardian appointment, medical examination, and proof of homosexuality. Meanwhile, Jeongha grows distant from Hyeonjoo, having second thoughts about their marriage as Hyeonjoo tries to score higher on a test built on pure stereotypes.
3. 위빙 Weaving

사회 초년생 수현은 첫 프로 복싱 시합 준비 중, 취미로 복싱하는 민경과 스파링하다가 제대로 훅을 맞는다. 수현은 민경에게 맞은 후로, 자기 삶에 불쑥 들어온 민경에게 끌리면서 시합 준비가 흔들리기 시작한다. 거친 호흡, 젖어가는 살갗의 반복적인 접촉. 그것은 스파링일 수도 사랑일 수도 있다.
While preparing for her first pro boxing match, solitary boxer Soohyun gets hit hard during a
sparring session with beginner Minkyung. After the hit, Soohyun finds herself drawn to Minkyung, disrupting her focus on the upcoming match. Heavy breathing, the repetitive contact of damp skin. It could be sparring—or it could be love.

‘블랙 마리아’는 1893년 토마스 에디슨과 윌리엄 K.딕슨이 고안한 최초의 영화 스튜디오이자 광학 장치다. 야외 촬영이 주를 이루던 당시, 에디슨은 인공 조명 스튜디오에서 키네토그라프(Kinetograph)로 보드빌 쇼, 스포츠맨, 무용수, 곡예사의 공연을 촬영했다. '블랙 마리아' 프로젝트는 장영해와 민혜인이 2023년 윈드밀에서 같은 시간과 무대를 배경으로 서로 다른 퍼포먼스를 선보인 후, 각자의 시선으로 편집한 2개의 영상으로 구성된다.
“Black Maria” was the first film studio and optical device, conceived by Thomas Edison and William K. Dickson in 1893. While most footage at the time was captured outdoors, Edison used his own invention—the Kinetograph—to record short performances by vaudeville acts, sportsmen, dancers, and acrobats in an artificially lit studio. Project Black Maria consists of two videos made from separate performances staged at the same time and space, yet two entirely different works, each edited through the individual lens of the two artists.

〈BOLD LOVERS〉는 라이브 음악과 댄스를 아우르는 복합 장르 퍼포먼스로 사랑과 쾌락을 저항의 급진적 행위로 탐구한다. 욕망, 연결, 친밀함은 우리 삶의 방향을 제시하는 힘. 대담하게 사랑하는 것, 그것 말고 해방을 위한 토대가 또 있을까? 작품은 관계라는 ‘거침없는 축제’를 그린다.
BOLD LOVERS is an interdisciplinary performance with live music and dance that explores love and pleasure as radical act for resistance. It is a wild celebration of relationships. Desire, connection, and intimacy are all forces suggesting us direction and we wonder: what else could liberation be based upon if not loving boldly?

〈GOOD GIRL GONE DRAG〉는 사라 한세스가 2025년부터 진행 중인 리서치 기반 퍼포먼스 프로젝트 〈SHE IS WHAT I WANNA BECOME X GOOD GIRL GONE DRAG〉에서 파생한 영상이다. 드랙 문화의 아첨과 순종을 탐구하는 솔로 퍼포먼스는 퀴어 페미니즘적 시각으로 ‘거부’와 ‘주체성’을 안무로 풀어낸다.
GOOD GIRL GONE DRAG is a newly edited video of Sarah Hanses’s ongoing project started in 2025, SHE IS WHAT I WANNA BECOME X GOOD GIRL GONE DRAG, the drag-informed solo performance that interrogates fawning and obedience, creating a choreography of refusal and agency from a queer-feminist perspective.
